Uyirin Uyirae Song Lyrics: Anbuchelvan, played by Surya, is one of four police officers in the Kaakha Kaakha movie who work together to fight organized crime in Chennai. The film focuses on Anbuchelvan's (Surya) journey across the city. He is violent and laconic, and he has very little tolerance for a personal life. That is until he becomes a hero in the eyes of the schoolteacher Maya (Jyothika), and he begins a small relationship with her.
During this time, his team was successful in eliminating one member of the gang, the brother of a reckless criminal named Pandya (Jeevan), but they were not able to eliminate the whole group. The conflict then moves into the homes of the cops, where Pandya's thugs one-by-one target each member of the officers' families. Anbuchelvan is ultimately responsible for Pandya and the rest of his gang's deaths, which brings this story to a close.
An epilogue reveals that a number of weeks after Maya's passing, Anbuchelvan still working as an IPS officer even though he is still grieving over the loss of his wife. An alternative ending was filmed, and it was included in the DVD edition with a running commentary by Gautham Menon, in which he described the reasons why the notion of using this ending was ultimately abandoned.
Harris Jayaraj, who worked with Menon on the soundtrack for Minnale, created the music for this film. Harris himself composed the music for the 2001 Hindi film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, which included the song "Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua."
