In the 21st century, which is still a dangerous time for women, more and more women are being killed or attacked with acid because they turned down a guy's proposal. This issue is also at the center of Kadhal ondru kanden.
At the start of the short film, two friends are in love and racing their bikes. The real story starts when Gautham throws acid on Jenifer because she turned down his proposal and said she was going to marry Mathew. It turns out that Mathew is the inspector of police at the same station as Gautham's father.
